Deacons/Deaconess Ministry- To assist in every way the Pastor in the ministry. This ministry shall visit the sick, needy and distressed members of the church. Must be available to look after the up-keeping of the church. Deaconess shall assist the deacons in preparation of the church ordinances (Lords Supper and Baptisms) Finance Team Ministry-Finance committee with the assistance of the board of directors shall be responsible for securing funds to meet all expenses within the budget as adopted by the church. It shall keep accurate, itemized records of amounts received for respective funds each week. This ministry shall count all money taking in by the church and arrange for deposits to be made. This ministry shall present its records to be audited at the close of the Fiscal Year or more often if so requested by the church. • Church Treasure- Must keep accurate record of all monies contributed for the general expense of the church. Keep accurate record of all disbursements. Write all checks to meet all financial obligations of the church. Administration Ministry-Ministry designed to keep order for pastor and church. • Church Clerk-Keep accurate minutes of the business proceeding of the church including the reception and dismissal of members. Serve as clerk of the church executive board. Assist the church secretary in preparing the denomination reports and any other reports that may be required. • Church Secretary-Handle all church correspondence. Shall provide a financial statement to each contributor. Be responsible for the preparation of all official church certificates • Announcement Clerks- Responsible for the collection of all announcements that will be made during the worship service. To emphasize, scrutinize and consolidate all announcements to be placed in the church bulletin on a weekly basis. Board of Director’s Ministry-Board of directors must have some knowledge General business practices and be willing to use such knowledge for the betterment of this church. The board of Directors is to hold Trust, all property belonging to the church and the corporation, and take all nessicary measures for its protection, management and upkeep. To assist the Finance team in securing funds required to finance the budget adopted by the church. This board shall perform such other duties as are imposed upon it by the church and state. Church Executive Board Ministry-This joint board shall consist of all members of the Deacons and Board of Directors. The Pastor shall serve as the chairman of the Joint board and shall be moderator of all meetings unless otherwise specified by pastor. If Pastor is absent the meeting shall be chaired by chairman of the deacon board. The executive shall consist of the officers of the church, chairperson of the committees and presidents of all auxiliaries. Meeting of the executive board mall be called at any time by the Pastor. Music Ministry: The choir shall do everything possible to develop music that is beneficial to the Church Worship. They shall engage in practice and study to achieve and maintain high standard of musical excellence. They shall cooperate fully with the officers of the music department and adhere to the musical program established for the church Ushers/Hospitality Ministry-Setting an organized and orderly tone for the worship service: escorting, seating and assisting attendees: Facilitating offertory. Greeting members and guest; distributing bulletins, offering envelopes, gift and other information; Outreach Ministry-Coordinating the community outreach efforts, food distribution and other outreach events. Youth and Young Adult Ministry-Provide a platform for the youth and young adults in the ministry. Shall conduct services geared towards promoting biblical literate and Christian commitment. Mothers Ministry-Shall stand as proud symbols of unfaltering Christian endurance. They shall be aware of the high esteem in which they are held and shall not hesitate to demand adherence to Christian standards of the church members. They shall occupy the seats of distinction and shall provide and perform supporting motherly services asked of noble women. Brotherhood Ministry-Serving to equip, empower and disciple Godly men and to reach out to the elderly men and young men of our church and community. Women’s Ministry-Creating opportunities for women to better come to know Christ, to be more equipped to serve and to connect with and encourage others. Drama/Enrichment Ministry: Coordinate all special drama program (Easter, Christmas and other programs) Coordinating all special activities between service for members staying for the 3:30pm service. Community Ministry-Represent Weller Street at different community meetings and developing relationships with others to assist in the advancement of this church ministry. Media Ministry-Recording duplicating and distributing CDs and Tapes of our services. Making bibles, books and other merchandise available for purchase; setting up, caring for and storing sound equipment. Pastor Care Ministry-Provide support and assistance to Pastor and Family. I love my church Ministry- Building fund, designed to enhance the beatification of our church building and also provide assistance in other areas of ministry needs.
